Hi ,

One of our customer is developing a hand held POS based on TPS65251 PMIC and rail are follows ........ customer is not getting the efficiency in Light load  . how we have to increase the efficiency in each BUCK ?  Do we have any better PMIC with better efficiency ?

9 V to 12 V / 3 A (Lithium ion battery ) ------------------------------------ 5 V / 0.200 ma (BUCK 1 )& 3.3 V / 0.200 ma (BUCK 2  ) & 4.2 V / 2 A maximum (BUCK 3 ) . They want to have more efficiency in BUCK 1 & BUCK 2.

Please suggest the solution or better device ASAP.

Regards/

Vengat.

    Hi.

Unfortunately, TPS65251 can't support individual channels low power mode hecne your appllication efficiecny has not good. if you need only two channels low power mode, you can use TPS65253. if you need test data, let me know. my e-mail address : yg_kim@ti.com

    Regards YG Kim.
