I was looking at the application circuit for the TPS65720 and TPS65721 - on the BGA version, the 65720, there is an input capacitor of 2.2uF on VINLDO1.
On the circuit for the 65721, there is no input capacitor. Is there a reason? Or is this a datasheet omission?
I'm using the 65721, and would just as soon leave it out, since there's already an output cap on the DC/DC converted output which feeds directly into VINLDO1.
