hi 

in the document given with tps65720 it says that an interrupt is  cleared(after generation) when it is read, but when i use the GUI given with EVM board whenever the interrupt is generated it is erased in a second or two.

does the interrupt generated gets cleared in a fixed time period or when it is read?

and also how does the ic know when the host has read the value in interrupt(how does host acknowledge this communication)?
