Hi~
TPS650941 I2C the maximum VOL threshold is 0.4V and Apollo Lake I2C maximum VOL threshold is 0.45V.
Could you please check whether TPS65094x spec could meet or same as APL's spec?

Hi Tiger,
I2C specification (www.nxp.com/documents/user_manual/UM10204.pdf - Table 9) shows VOL maximum = 0.4 V, so customer may want to contact Intel to determine if Intel is really outside of I2C specification. In the meantime, we will check our theoretical VIL since specification allows for us to go as high as 0.54 V for 1.8V input.
Hi Tiger,
Our theoretical VIL setting is 0.45 V.
More importantly, the Intel specification of 0.45 V is at 3 mA, which at 1.8V supply is a 600 ohm pull-up. The CRB uses 1 kohm pull-up. As such, we would expect VOL with 1.8 mA to be proportionally lower and well within our guaranteed range for VIL. Given the extensive validation done by Intel, we don't expect this to be an issue.
