TPS65911: TPS695118: Correct connection of unused VBACKUP pin

Part Number: TPS65911
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 66AK2G02,

What is the correct connection of VBACKUP on the TPS659118 when no backup battery is used?

SWCA116C, the TPS65911x Schematic Checklist, says, under Not Used Features in Table 1, "Connected to GND (preferred) or VCC7." (page 3)

SWCU176, the TPS659118 User's Guide for 66AK2G02, says "If backup battery is not used, VBACKUP should be connected to VCC7."  (page 4)

I notice that the K2G EVM has a 3 pin header to allow VBACKUP to be jumpered either to +5V (VCC7) or to GND, but my EVM shipped with no jumper installed.

Can you clarify which connection is preferred, ground or VCC7?
