tps65218: use the tps65218 to supply the xc7z010

i want to use the pmic tps65218 to supply xilinx zynq7000 soc XC7Z010 ，but the default output voltage and power sequence of tps65218 don't meet the requirement of XC7Z015. TI design TIDA-00478 use tps65218 to supply XC7Z010.how does this work.

The default output voltage and power sequencing of the TPS65218 that you see on the device datasheet are for the "ARM Cortex-A8/A9 SoCs", in the AM335x/AM437x families of processors.

I do not see the TIDA-00478 Reference Design on ti.com
Can you please tell me where you found this design?

I have also assigned this post to an engineer familiar with the TPS65218 and variants of this device that have been developed. If there is a Zynq 7000 variant of the device, it may be an un-released version. To receive more info about un-released variants, you will need to contact your local TI Sales team.

Zhen,

TPS65218 device can provide power for Zynq 7000 device. But, this will require an new OTP and business case has to be approved. The reference design shown earlier was only to show the capability of the device and only a paper design.

Please work with the your TI sales representative and once the business case is approved, we can provide the samples. Also, you can use I2C to change the initial voltages and use the default configuration of the device.
