TPS659037: How to reduce the time of Power-off

Hi Sir,

Now I can turn device off by long press power key for 12secs, and I can also adjust the time from 12s to 6s by the register LPK_TIME.

But 6s is still too long for me, is there any way to make the time shorter than 6s? Or how could I ignore LONG_PRESS_KEY and turn off directly?

Hello Chentsu,

The minimum time of long press key is 6 seconds, so there's no way to reduce that any more.

You can use other methods to turn of the PMIC, like RESET_IN=low, PWRDOWN=high, or writing DEV_ON=0 (I2C). The full list of OFF requests is in Table 5-10 in the datasheet.
