TPS65910: Difference between TPS65910A31A1 and TPS65910A3A1

Hello,

We are using the AM3358 (Z1) with the TPS65910A31A1 PMIC and everything works good. I am trying to understand what are the differences between TPS65910A31A1 and TPS65910A3A1 ?

When we use TPS65910A3A1, our custom board locks up randomly and cannot recover (not even with the 7 sec long press) until the battery is disconnected and pmic registers are reset. Measured the voltages to the micro and found VDD_MPU = 1.1, VDD_CORE = 1.1, VDDS_DDR = 0. Is there any explanation or a way to prevent this from happening ?
