Is there a PCB layout design guidelines for dual phase output configuration? most design guidelines published are focused only on single phase.

Hi,

Welcome to E2E! The layout design guidelines for the single phase configuration also apply for the dual phase configuration. The only difference is that SMPS1 and SMPS2 will be tied together after their inductors.

Hi,

The user guide for our evaluation module is here: www.ti.com/.../sliu020

It has a layout that can give you an idea on dual phase. This schematic has the dual phase connections not populated, but it gives you an idea where to place and route your components. The only changes to the layout is that SMPS1 inductor and SMPS2 inductor would be connected on the output side. Also, SMPS2_FDBK pin would be grounded.
