Hi Philippe,

A few questions:

  1. For the TPS65950 device, what is the threshold for PWRON to be considered high or low?
  2. What is the voltage requirement for VBAT?
  3. What is PWRON's absolute max?
  4. What is the supply voltage referenced for PWRON?

Best Regards,

Michael Green

1/PWRON trig level are available in Data manual table 3-4

The pin is using VIO and is VBAT compiliant.

    VIL MAX = 1.8 x 0.35
    VIH MIN = 0.65 * 1.8

    2/Table 3-3
    VBAT Min = 2.7V
    VBAT MAX = 4.5V

3/ MAX PWRON is VBAT. If power on exeeds VBAT there is a diode between VBAT and PWRON which will be forward biased and it will clamt the PWRON level to VBAT + ~0.6V

4/ Supply reference for VBAT is VIO.

Hope this is helpfull, don't forget to close the thread if the questions are answered.

    Regards,
    Philippe
