I am using the TPS65910A31A1RSLT PMU.
In our application, we would like to put a fixed regulator on the VABCKUP pin. It will always have power.
There is a lot of information regarding batteries and caps, (see post by EdWalker on Oct 19 2012 08:33 AM) but I can't find any discussion regarding using a fixed regulator.
QUESTION:
(1) Can I use a fixed regulator to power the VBACKUP pin?
(2) Will this affect the TPS65910A31A1RSLT since it will try to to charge what's connected at the VBACKUP pin when at full power?
