I have a customer who is having an issue with his system utilizing the TPS65950. His direct question is below...
We’re using the Gumstix Overo on one of our projects, which uses an OMAP with TPS65950 and have run into a puzzling scenario that I can’t seem to find an answer for in the component reference manuals nor online.
If we leave the OTG_VBUS input open (no power) and then provide power onto the board, the processor starts its boot process immediately. However, if we tie the OTG_VBUS to +5V at the same time as powering on the Gumstix itself there is about a 4-5 second delay seen before the processor begins to boot. What would cause this additional boot delay?
Any feedback or documentation on this would be greatly appreciated.
