Hi, You can connect this to the nrespwron AND input. Keep in mind that if this is done only the processor gets reset. You are not doing anything on the PMIC side and nothing changes on the PMIC configuration. When the OMAP resets it sends nreswarm signal to the PMIC. In case you are using warm reset...

Hi, You dont need to have a 33ohm on this signal. It will work fine without that as well. Here is what might be happening: When you power-up the platform, it does power up completely. Probe the nRESPWRON continuously (maybe trigger mode) to see that it would go high. This would power on the...

We have a new board we are bringing up, and it keeps resetting itself. The reset behavior is somewhat board dependent, but all boards are resetting themselves, as best we can tell by asserting the nRESPWRON signal. While the nRESPWRON signal is not asserted all the voltages seem good. One board typically...

  • Forum Post: TPS65073 with OMAP3530 clarifications requested

Hi! I'm designing an OMAP3530-system which only requires a simple PMU so I think the TPS65073 would fit well. However, the design-in Wiki and the TPS6507x documentation is a bit sparse or downright ambigous on a couple of points which I thought I'd ask here: 1) If not using a battery...

Hello Flore Auzanneau, t_dONPWHOLD - delay to set high PWRHOLD signal or DEV_ON control bit after NRESPWRON released to keep on the supplies. What is the significance of the delay? if we make PWRHOLD signal high before that delay or before NRESPWRON goes to high, what will happen? When we...

Hello Flore Auzanneau, When we set the DEV_ON bit the device will turn off once but restart again as PWRHOLD is the enable condition of the device as per my understanding( pg-41). Can we make PWRHOLD high before NRESPWRON goes high through some external device? Kindly clarify.
