I'm looking at the datasheet for the part and on p23 it shows the drawing for the DRC (S-PVSON-N10) package. I do not see a recommended footprint nor information on the size of the thermal pad. It mentions the thermal pad information is shown on a separate sheet yet I cannot find this anywhere.

I found a link to the package but it shows the same information, http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?literatureNumber=MPDS117K&fileType=pdf

I downloaded the BXL CAD file and this doesn't show a thermal pad yet the device requires the thermal pad to be soldered to ground.

Thanks, but this is odd. The datasheet that I downloaded on 10/21 only has 24 pages, see attached. I'm 99% sure I downloaded it from the TI site.

What might have happened is that your download coincided with a web update and your copy was missing a couple of pages. Much of the information at the back of the datasheets gets automatically appended/attached and may have been in the process of an update when you downloaded.

TPS61232 in DRC (S-PVSON-N10) package has the same problem - no page with thermal pad sizes.
