LM5050-2 output drop High

Hi ,

I am using LM5050-2   along with mosfet P80nf55_08 in place of oring diode. The out  drops by 400mv. 

I am not able to get wattage saving using LM5050-2. The oring function is working perfectly.

Kindly advice what should be done to reduce the voltage drop.

    What is the voltage on the LM5050-2 GATE and IN pins under this condition? Send your schematic snippet if possible.

    Hi ,

    The one case I had noted is as below

    The input   24.57V

    Output  24.11V

    and Gate voltage 26.66

    O/p current is 2 amps

    I tried removing the input output protection diodes and then shorting the reverse polarity protection diodes . No much deference.  The oring functionality working perfectly. The mosfet used was different from the schematic. It was P80nf55_08.  What should be the the gate voltage.  I tried removing the MOSfet and check the gate voltage it was around 36 V.
