I'm looking for an IC able to limit USB current from 100 mA to at least 1.5 A. The current limit (discrete points of 100, 500, 900 and 1500 mA) must be easily setable at runtime.
Optionally, it can have USB charger detection and ESD protection.
I don't need a battery charger as the IC wont charge any battery.
