TPS2543 CDP mode

Folks,

Attached is the wavefrom of TPS2543's primary detection at CDP mode.

As shown, it fails on CDP detection.

Although VDP_SRC on PD side shows glitches, the TPS2543 seems successfully responding, but had not disabled VDM_SRC in 60ms

after PD is disabling VDP_SRC. It should disable within 20ms. What  occurs on TPS2543?

It occurs specific smartphone in every time. Other smartphones do not shows such long TVDMSRC_DIS.

    I can check around internally to see if this behavior has been observed before. Do you have access to a TPS2546 based charger (or the TPS2546EVM) to see if the behavior is the same using this phone?

    Unfortunately, we do not have TPS2546 EVM. We have already ordered, but I guess it takes a time.
    Could you please let me know the behavior that you have been observed in advance if possible?
    Direct mail is also prefer to me.

    We did evaluation by using TPS2546EVM. Nothing is changed, CDP regonization was failed due to long TVDMSRC_DIS.

    Also after 2s of discharging, The TPS2546 retry as SDP even if no changes on CTLx.

    1) You can see 1st try and 2nd retry. Zoom of 1st try is as attacfhed previous one.  

    2. Followings are 2nd retry, it seems SDP. We did not changed CTLx thoughout this measurement.

    We would like to confrim

    1) Why CDP fails on both TPS2543 and TPS2546 at specific smart phone.

    2) Why TPS2546 retry on SDP without changing CTLx pins. (We confirm that TPS2543 would not retry as SDP.)
