I am using a TPS2511 USB charge controller. It works with almost everything, except a Verizon Ellipsis 7. On that tablet you get a window that says it's an incompatible charger, although it charges anyway. This is an inconvenience to our users. If I use a Maxim USB charge controller that's on one of our older designs then the Verizon Ellipsis 7 works fine with no warning dialog windows. But I'd like to use the TPS2511 because it's cheaper. What do I need to do?

Our support team has worked with the device manufacturer and we understand a software update is in the works to remove the incompatible charger flag. I don't have any more information about when the software change will go into effect but you might contact the manufacturer for more information.
