Dear support team

My customer is evaluating TPS2546-Q1 at prototyoe board.

But It failed at BC1.2 CDP Common mode full speed test of USB2.0 unfortunately,

D- is less than 0.5-0.7V at the primary detection.

Please teach the advice or solution for passing the test.

If there is necessary information, please let me know.

TPS2546-Q1 CDP design fully follow BC1.2 specification, so far no feedback mentioned fail CDP compiance test. Do you have some fail test report to see what really happend?

Thank you for kindly support.

I tried to apply VDP_SRC signal(0.6V) to customer board using a function generator.

It seems to take about 6.3s until TPS2546 can response after disabling signal and discharge.

Seeing test log of customer, applied D+ in 5.67s after a handshake terminates in the previous test. (Please see attached file)

◆Question

(Q1)Could this behavior occurs in this test log of customer?

(Q2)Could you provide all passed log that you send before?

(Q3)If this behavior is cause of failing test, Is it possible to short the 6.3sec?
