I used the LM5069-2 as a current limiter & circuit breaker for my board base on 24VDC supply.Schematic posted was based on the reference design from the datasheet of LM5069-2 .
The inrush current of the board is limited to 55mV/0.05 =1.1 A,which is defined from the application note.
Choose the upper UVLO threshold (VUVH), and the lower UVLO threshold (VUVL).VUVH = 11.45 V and VUVL = 9.95 V,with a hysteresis of 1.5 V.
Choose the upper OVLO threshold (VOVH),and the lower OVLO threshold (VOVL).Therefore, VOVH = 34.27 V and VOVL = 32.27 V, with a hysteresis of 2 V.
Power limitation function for the external series MOSFET is disabed ,as shown in the schematic.
Everything work well when powered by the linear regulated power supply,but when i connect the board in series with the surge/transient test system before transient test, it starts to oscillate at the testpoint (TP1),illustrated from the image.As a result,the LM5069 doesn't switch on at all.
