    Patrick,

    TI has a number of hotswap ICs that will handle 12v/15A. The TPS24700/01, TPS24710/11, TPS24720 can do this and have EVMs build for 25A applications that are easily scaled as you need.  Please see www.ti.com/hotswap for selection and design tools plus app notes that can assist in the final selection.  Selection is based on desired feature set such as analog current monitoring, PMBus/I2C current/voltage/power telemetry, fault handling (CL, CB, Plimit), etc.
