TPS23754: Bridge rectifier diodes

Hi,

In the design for the EVM board (TPS23754EVM-420), the diodes used for the bridge rectifier circuit are the B1100 from Diodes Inc. We used the same part for our design but sourcing the part has become an issue. We are looking at replacements and have found the SS110 http://www.mccsemi.com/up_pdf/SS12-SS110(HSMA).PDF. Is this diode feasible?

Hi Neil,

I see no issues with using the SS110; however, be sure that ambient does not get to hot as the the leakage for this diode is higher at high temperatures than B1100.

Thanks Darwin. Our ambient temp is well below the maximum so we should be okay.
