hello.

I have a question about UC2914.

Please tell me the gate charge quantity (capacity) of the FET which can drive the OUT pin of UC2914.

    Hi Masazumi,

    The UC2914 should be able to drive any type of power FET, even a FET with a large Qgs curve. If you're looking for a hot swap controller, I personally do NOT recommend this part. It's a much older part, much more expensive than all of our newer parts, and doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of our newer parts.

    Our team has an excellent and easy to use hot swap selection tool guide for future use. Just go to ti.com/hotswap ==> click on the “Tools & software” tab ==> select “Hot Swap selection tool”.  Below is a screenshot of where to go.
