Dear Sir,

As customer question, is it possible to provide VCIN pin with regulated voltage source in stead of from transformer aux wirding?

As my thinking, my customer will not use non-isolated design for their product nut just want to simplify their design.

Hello Peter,

Yes, you can absolutely use a regulated voltage source for VC_IN.

If you do not want to use advanced startup, you can just use a voltage reference to bias VC_IN above the UVLO threshold while leaving VC_OUT floating if your PWM controller already has a startup feature (for which you are using your voltage source).

See page 3 of this app note: for a buffer/reference circuit connected to VC of TPS23753A.
