TPS2388: May TPS2388 application need add MCU to help control?

The TPS2388 PSE has system software reference code available on the internet here --> www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware and details on how to best utilize/modify that reference code are found within the www.ti.com/.../tps2388evm-612 User's Guide (see Section 4.3). You can also watch a video here --> training.ti.com/tps23861-poe-msp430-reference-code-training-part-1 . The training itself utilizes the TPS23861 controller in the examples...but is a good primer none-the-less.
