Hi,

On the data sheet of CSD16301Q2, The Rds(on) resistance is shown as 27mohms (TYP) at Vgs=3V, Ids=4A conduction.

I am wondering that if Ids is 0.5A (or even smaller, like 0.1A) what is the Rds(on) resistance this time?

Tony,

It should be almost the same with Ids=4A.Please refer to Figure 2. Saturation Characteristics in DS. The change of slope of the curve demonstrates the change of Rdson.

Hi Tony,

For swiching application, FETs work in the linear region (Ohmic region). Therefore the resistance should be consistant regardless of the current.

What is your application for this?
