Hello all,
I'm working on a school project and trying to design my PCB on EAGLE.
I'm using the CSD16301Q2 in my design but can't find the footprint in any of the libraries out there.
I'm band new to using EAGLE so I haven't trusted myself to build a component from scratch.
Any help would be appreciated!
Brandon.
Brandon,
The recommended land pattern is shown at the top of page 7 of the CSD16301Q2 datasheet. We don't use Eagle at TI but I have used it for home projects. It's a great program, easy to use, and the price is right. Compared to other CAD programs, the Eagle library editor is easy to use but mastering the library editor is key to becoming proficient with Eagle. There are pdf and youtube library tutorials on the web. Search for "eagle library tutorial" with google and you will find these. When I started with Eagle I had to take about an hour to go through one of the tutorials--after that you will have the confidence to do the CSD16301Q2 as well as your other components in Eagle.
I hope this helps,

Thanks a lot Tom!
I've noticed a lot of the components I'm using are not in the libraries provided by eagle so I've started watching the tutorials as you recommended.
I appreciate the help.
