CSD16323Q3 for Switching 120 uA at 240 mV Source to Drain

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD16323Q3

Need relay-like action from a CSD16323Q3 to switch 0.120 mA at 0.24 V Source to Drain, but concerned about Figure 9 on Page 6 of the Datasheet where at 25C the device needs more than 0.4 V to conduct 0.100 mA Source to Drain.

Will CSD16323Q3 provide the low R-DS-on of a few mOhms (4 to 6) with a Source to Drain current of 0.120 mA at 0.24 V? ... or is this a reed relay app?

Thank you,

Henry Delforn

  • Henry,
I'm not sure I understand your question or how you are using the MOSFET.

There is an internal body diode that connects the source to drain of the MOSFET. If you only bias this diode 0.24V, you will not get much current, as show in figure 9. The diode will remain very high impedance until you approach the Vf value provided in the electrical specs.
