Using PMOS CSD25310Q2 as a tactile latch switch

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD25310Q2, CSD15571Q2, CSD17313Q2, BQ24133

Hello all,

I'm trying to make a latch switch with a tactile button.

I read an article how to make this circuit from the link below and I think it's not too hard to follow.

<http://www.edn.com/design/power-management/4427218/Latching-power-switch-uses-momentary-pushbutton>

But I just want to check if CSD24310Q2 is a proper Mosfet to use in this schematic.

I have a 12V, 2A supply going into the whole circuit and since CSD24310Q2 is a rated at 20V, I think it should be ok.

Also should I use NPN transistor with a voltage rating same as PMOS that I'm using?

I'm not sure what parameters that I should look for NPN transistor.

Thanks in advance
