CSD18543Q3A: Rdson value when Vgs=3.5V

Part Number: CSD18543Q3A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD17304Q3, CSD17308Q3, CSD17309Q3

Hi Team,

I'm wondering what's the Rdson value when Vgs=3.5V. From the below picture, it's not clear what's the exact value. Thanks.

  • Zach,

    Thanks for posting.
In the region you are requesting it is not practical to give you a resistance number as it would have such a wide variation. This is because extremely small shifts in threshold voltage (which happens both with process variation and temperature) will cause massive shifts in resistance from say 0.5 Ohm to infinite resistance, this is why it is not specified on the datasheet.
If you are looking for a guaranteed resistance value then this is simply not possible in this region, even providing a typical value is extremely dangerous as it can have such wide variation.
  • Hi Chris,

    Thanks for explaining it.
Do you have any recommendations if I want to find a 60V MOSFET. The package is the same with CSD18543Q3A. Customer wants to use 3.5V(min)-4.2V(max) as the driving circuit power supply.
  • Zack,

Unfortunately we do not have a 60V FET that is rated down to 3.5Vgs drive capability. The lowest guaranteed drive voltage capability 60V FET we offer is 4.5V. If the customer can use a 30V FET then we have various options that have resistance rate down to 3V. These are CSD17308Q3, CSD17309Q3 and CSD17304Q3
