All,
Do we know if the the "WAS" sufix is RoHS 5/6 compliant (contains Pb):
Orderable Device Status Package Type Package Drawing Pins Package Qty Eco Plan Lead/Ball Finish MSL Peak Temp
PTH05050WAS ACTIVE Surface Mount Module EUV 6 56 TBD SNPB Level-1-235C-UNLIM/Level-3-260C-168HRS
“The term “RoHS 5/6” refers to products that are compliant with the limits for five RoHS regulated substances – Cd, Hg, Cr+6, PBB and BDE – but not Pb. To be able to use the RoHS 5/6 compliance reference, the lead (Pb) usage in excess of RoHS permitted concentrations (i.e., >1000 ppm) can only be in solder, component finishes and/or the resulting joint formed in the - 2 - soldering process. Any other usage of lead (Pb) in excess of RoHS permitted concentrations disqualifies the part from RoHS 5/6 compliance.
The term “RoHS 6/6” refers to products compliant with the limits for all six RoHS regulated substances: Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr+6, PBB and PBDE.”
Thanks,
Rinzai Bell
The PTH05050WAS is RoHS 5 of 6.
TheTexas Instruments Plug-In Power module(s) identified as PTH05050WAS is RoHS 5 of 6 compliant. Lead (Pb) is present in the solder ball pin for all PTH module with “S” suffix
