adjust ptn78000h output voltage via digital potentiometer?

Hello,

I'd like to dynamically adjust the output voltage of the ptn78000h from a microcontroller. I was hoping I could just replace the set-point resistor with a digital potentiometer, e.g. MAX5400, among many. So long as the voltage appearing on the "adjust" pin of the ptn78000h is below 3v, this seems like it will work. What range of voltages will be produced on the "adjust" pin as the resistance below it changes? (Presumably there is a voltage divider on the ptn78000h that the external resistor parallels?) Or perhaps there are other reasons this won't work?

Thanks!

    Morgan:

The  use of a DAC control of the  PTN78000H requires additional application information.

Can you send me your contact inforamtion at
