Hi,

In one of our designs we have had to cover the converter with an RFI cage, to avoid interference with othe rmodules of the system.

Measurements have shown that the current consumption of the PTH rises by approximately 30mA after assembling the cage.

Further measurements have demonstrated that the inductance of the inductor changes from 2.2uH to ~1.6uH.

does this a known phenomenon?

does using the converter in this mode may affect its stability or cause any unexpected performance?

Hi,

I am looking for the 12 to 5V/5A, DC to DC converter Module, with the compliance of Radiated Emissions & Conducted emission tests as per CISPR22 standard. Please suggest suitable options for the same

Also, please let me know is PTH08T230W module fulfills my requirements?

PTH08T230W EMC/EMI conducted and radiated emission Data is attached.

EMC is conducted reference data . The PTH08T230W requires input PI filtering to achieve fore conducted and radiated emissions . The input Ferrite bead ( # is 2773021447 Fair-rite ) or 1 uH minimum inductor .
