During production test, 10% of DCR010505U DC-DC need input power recyling to restart after we applied a 5 second duration short circuit on its output. Is it an normal operation of the DC-DC (no indication of power recycling needed on the datasheet)? Do we have to warry about the long term reliability of the unit that did not restart without power recycling?
I reviewed the e-mail concerning power recycling when the output is shorted on 10% of the units. This appears to be the 5V input power source is driven into current limit.during the short test.
