I am trying to calculate the board area i need in order to dissipate enough heat when using the LMZ35003. I am using the http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snva419c/snva419c.pdf app note for equations. One of the equations given is;
Board Area (cm^2) >= 500/θ(JA)-θ(JC), or equation (10) in the PDF.
The datasheet for LMZ35003 does not give me a Theta(JC) and the app notes says ". If the value of θJC is not included in the data sheet it can often be requested from the manufacturer." could you provide me with this value or point me to a document that shows how to calculate it with other given values?
