PTH12040WAH, inhibit=GND, voltage output not 0V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PTH12040W

Hi,

We have an PTH12040WAH in our product:

Input=12V

VoAdjust Resistor=1.5k (output=3.3V)

we controll inhibit by an N-MOSFET. If switched on (inhibit is open), PTH12040WAH switches on to 3.3V, everything is ok.

But if the N-MOSFET is on (inhibit=GND), the output voltage ist about 0.7V, not 0V. By an 16ohm resistor, the voltage drops down to about 0.4V. We did check, if our MOSFET switches not fully on and connected inhibit directly to GND => no changes, still 0.7V output voltage.

This is not really good in our design. What can we do to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Michael
