LMZ30606 output voltage in response to overvoltage on input

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMZ30606

An LMZ30606 regulator, configured for 1.8VDC output was subjected to approximately 11 VDC on our board. The regulator sustained damage, and produced an output of 0.5 VDC (approx.) and not 1.8 VDC. We replaced the IC, and now see the correct output. However, in an attempt to asses damage to other circuitry, downstream, we would like to know if it is, at all, likely that the output voltage moved above 1.8VDC when subjected to an input voltage of 11 VDC. i.e., is there an opportunity for the output to go out of regulation when subjected to 11 VDC?
