My customer has the following question:
"We're working on bringing in PTH08T250W and have a question about the footprint and the interconnect technology. The package drawing shows a solder ball termination, but there is also a collar shown connecting to the daughter card. Is that an autosplice pin type of interconnect and is that why the suggested footprint is so large? Thanks for any information you can get us on this part."
