TPS82084: VDS spec issue

Part Number: TPS82084

Hello,

Customer say Altera power module( EP53F8) VDS spec is higher to TPS82084. So if have spike voltage, it will have more the degree of tolerance. Do you have any comments or suggest solution to beat DP53F8 for it? Thank you.

Both our recommended maximum input voltage and absolute maximum input voltage are higher. I don't understand your question.

Dear Chris,

Sorry for misunderstanding. After double confirm with customer. If PG pin connect to VIN, customer hope PG pin is low status while Vout don't ramp up. After EN and Vout high, then PG pin just send high status. Could our TPS82084 meet the requirement? Thank you.

See section 8.4.2 of the D/S. In UVLO, PG is low until Vin is below ~0.7V.

I think it meets your requirement.
