I used the LMZ21700 in my design and now that we are trying to build our manufacturer is saying that they have had issues with soldering this part in the past. They pointed me to a study done by Flextronics about Bottom Terminated Components but it looks like some of the information is from 2014. I did a quick search and found some information from a number of manufacturers for BTC components but I am not finding any recent information about soldering issues related BTC components. Does anyone have any information about soldering this part, issues, and/or resolutions?
