Sir,

Actually we need Switching or Linear or LDO Regulator 12V to 3.9V, Continua silly it will take current 500mA ,and we have to Control the regulator with enable that feature also we need.

I am thinking Switching regulator is suitable for our application suggest me suitable regulator.

There are an extremely large number of possible solutions. You are correct that you will want a switching supply rather than a linear regulator. can you tell us more about your application and design care abouts such as size, simplicity, cost, efficiency, etc?

Dear John Tucker,
We are using the regulator for Ublox 3G Module power supply,Input volatge of regulator is 12V and Regulator output volatge is 3.9V and Regulator output current is 500mA Continuously.Simple circuit and total circuit cost is 8$,efficiency 90% above ,Need 3A or more than 3A?

TPS54331D can work. If you need further support for it I suggest you start a new thread with that part number referenced as a different group supports TPS54331.
