Hi,

I need to design +1.2V and +3.3V power supply circuits for my Xilinx Spartan-6  XC6SLX9-2CPG196C FPGA.

My design requirements are: VinMin = 4.0V, VinMax = 5.0V.

Output requirement is Vout1 = +1.2V, Iout1 = 550mA.

Output requirement is Vout2 = +3.3V, Iout2 = 650mA.

I'm looking for Smallest power supply solution.

Using TI Webench, it proposed me to use two LMZ10500 Switcher with following resistance value for Rt & Rb.

1.  Vout1 = +1.2V, Iout1 = 550mA    ->  Rt = 80.6K ohms, Rb = 105K ohms

2. Vout2 = +3.3V, Iout2 = 650mA    -> Rt = 80.6K ohms, Rb = 105K ohms

Wondering if LMZ10500 Switcher is the best option that i can use? Please help to propose if have any newer devices.

Thanks.

Regards,

Atthen

    Hello again Atthen

    I agree that the LMZ10500 is the smallest option available. Be sure to follow the mounting and soldering instructions.
