I was wondering if I could double the output of the LM2679-adj by tying the outputs together via a burn off resistor?

    Hi Thomas,

    Can you clarify if you are asking for current sharing? If so, this is not a good idea since this part doesn't specifically support that. In fact, the part with the relatively higher output voltage will trump the other part.

    I am not sure why you hyperlinked a VICOR part into your question, but if you are looking for a current sharing module, you can try the LMZ23608 or LMZ23610.
