LM22676, Output voltage drop at light load

Condition: 9Vin, 7Vout

When there is a load less than 350mA, the output voltage will drop to 5.5V around and then goes up to 7V cyclely. But when load is higher than 350mA, the output voltage will be normally. Please find the waveform as attached. how to improve the problem and what's the limitation? What's the Boostrap's UVLO?

Also, when input voltage goes up to 9.5V, the problem will be gone.

CH1: Vout, CH2: SW pin

Applicaton: automotive

Customer: Whetron-China

  • Hi Brian,

Can you provide the schematic for your application? Your switch node doesn't look happy and it could be component values causing the problem. Also can you provide a zoomed in view of your SW node in CCM mode >350mA?

    Thanks,

    Anston
