LMR14030 - About data of light load Efficiency

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know the light load efficiency of LMR14030.

However, we can’t confirm this value on Webench.

Could you please let us know if you have any data?

They would like to evaluate the following conditions.

And, they expect the efficiency 85% at Iout=10mA to 20mA.

If the efficiency is less than 85%, could you please let us know if you have any recommended device?

[Conditions]

-Vin=32V to 32V

-Vout=12V

-Iout=3.0A(max)

-Light load output current=10mA to 20mA

Regards,

Kanemaru

  • Hello Kanemaru-san: We're retrieving the data you have requested. What's the minimum VIN your customer needs and any particular frequency of operation (Fsw) at heavy loads? Is the >85% at 32V/12V conversion ratio or with a 24V rail?

    Best Regards,
    -JP
  • Hi Juan-san,

Thank you for your prompt reply and your support!

The input voltage is AC adapter which is 32V(typ).

    However, I don’t know the VIN(min) now.

And, they don’t select the frequency of operation(Fsw) because they haven't decided the their detailed specifications yet.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Kanemaru
