LMZ34002, LMZ35003 / Adjusting output voltage with LM10010

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMZ35003, LM10010, LMZ34002

Hi Everyone,

Our customer plan to use LM10010 to adjust output voltage of LMZ34002 and LMZ35003. They are referring the app note SNVA709 (www.ti.com/.../snva709.pdf) but then they have question for both device as below.

  • Regarding LMZ35003, the RSET is connected to VOUT at LMZ35003, then can LM10010 connect to VADJ pin like SNVA709?
  • Regarding LMZ34002, can LMZ34002 be used with the same configuration with SNVA709 though it's negative output module?

Your comment will be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Sonoki / Japan Disty

  • Hi Satoshi,

The LMZ35003 and LMZ34002 had different voltage sensing conifiguration from those listed in SNVA709 app note.  Instead, there was internally a 10k ohm between VADJ and AGND (for LMZ35003), or VADJ and A_VOUT (for LMZ34002).  However, the "principles" stated in SNVA709 still applied, depending on the Vout and the change range of Vout.

    Thanks,

    Hung
