LMR14050 Definition of Vout Deviation in Fig. 5 on datasheet

Dear DC/DC Apps support team,

I am writing about LMR14050. My question is what the definition of the Vout deviation in Fig. 5 Load Regulation on the datasheet p. 6 is, or how to calculate the Vout deviation. I wonder if the deviation means the standard deviation, however, the standard deviation does not show negative values. Could I ask you to tell me some formulas of the Vout deviation in Fig. 5 on the datasheet of LMR14050?

  • I'm going to move this to the simple switcher forum. But I can tell you that the data shown in Figure 5 is measured data, not calculated from a formula. The voltage change is shown as a percent deviation relative to nominal 5V output. Positive % changes means voltage is above 5 V, negative % change means voltage is less than 5V.
