Hi,

My Customer is using LMR14050-Q1 for car infortaiment

LMR14050-Q1 is set to have output of 5V, and it is supplied to a MCU as shown in the diagram below

When MCU goes to standby mode (current consumption) is about 500uA maximum

Do you know how to calculate the total consumption for this DCDC (it is always ON)?

Hi,

I will forward this question to the application engineer. Do you need the current consumption for LMR14050? (I assume you are interested in the battery standby current) or do you need power loss?

Hi,
Yes, I need to know the battery standy current. I suppose the power loss is Iout x Vout right?

Hi, the standby current is about 0.29mA for 12V battery at 500uA load.Belowis the Iq and efficiency curve.
