Does this module protect itself against reverse input hookup?

I'm using it as 24 to 12V to drive a motor and 24Vinput is from external source to the board inside enclosure.

I'm curious, if the input of the LM14203H is at 13 to 14.2V for battery, would the output programmed for 12V, drop slightly?

I'm ok with lower output as long as it doesn't shut down or not not regulating.

This module does not have an inverse voltage protection. Please add the protection diode outside.
The dropout voltage depends on the loading. The part will have stable output voltage even when Vin is too low to provide 12V output voltage. Vout will stay at the maximum allowed voltage in dropout. When Vin is back up, Vout will be back to regulation at 12V.

What is the dropout for this module?

I can't seem to find in datasheet.
