Hello,

Can I apply Sense voltage before Vdd supply ?

I found the Absolute maximum ratings of all other pins as -0.3V to +7V.
However Recommended Operating Conditions is 0V to VDD+0.3V.
I think that we may not apply sense voltage before Vdd supply.

    Ryuji,

    It's not advisable to bring up the sense voltage on this part before Vdd is applied, as per the recommended operating condition.

    Thank you for the reply.
    According to your reply, may the device be damaged if bring up the sense voltage before Vdd is applied?
    If yes, we should revise the Absolute Maximum Ratings of Voltage applied to all other pins from "-0.3V to 7V" to
    "-0.3V to Vdd+0.3V (for example)"
     
    I would like to know whether the device will be damaged if bring up the sense voltage before Vdd is applied.

    Ryuji-san,

    Good question - as per the absolute maximum rating table footnotes, the table only lists stress values and that the device may not function if sense is brought up first, even though it may not be damaged as per the absolute maximum table.
